Let’s begin with a small excerpt from “Mahabharata”. The legend goes this way…
There is a beautiful tale in the Mahabharata. When “Karna”, the great warrior, passed away, he entered heaven. There he received gold and jewels but not food. Confused, he asked why. The celestial beings told him: “On Earth, you donated wealth but never food to your ancestors.” Realizing this, Karna prayed for a return to Earth. The gods granted him 16 days — the days of PitruPaksha — to offer food to his ancestors. Since then, Hindus observe this period with offerings.
This story reminds us: love, food, and respect are the true offerings that reach our forefathers.
The other reason to write a blog is not 1 but 2 eclipse fall 1 after another in same period make it more special as they say this is rare occasion 1 in 100 years.
The Energy Connection: Eclipse + Pitru Paksha

The Moon represents the Mind (Mann), while the Sun represents the Soul (Atma).
With both eclipses occurring in Pitra Paksha, this period may bring mental and physical disturbances.
Hence, performing Shradh, Tarpan, and charity will carry immense spiritual significance this year.

Relatively Safe: Aries, Taurus, Leo, Gemini Capricorn, Aquarius.
